Electric-shaft model R940 press with high performances both in speed and in performance according to the materials to be printed.
The main feature of a “Tandem” press is the possibility to print two different products at the same time, by configuring the press in such a way to obtain, as a matter of fact, two completely independent presses, or to print a single product with all of the available colours (in this case, 12).
Electric-shaft model R940 press with average-to-high performances both in speed and in performance according to the materials to be printed.
Top press of the 900 series with average-to-high performances both in automation and in performance according to the materials to be printed.
Model R950 was the highest-automation model of the first 900 series, equipped with an automatic system for the printing cylinder’s changeover with the lengthwise movement of the trolley.
The R118 is one of the oldest models to have undergone an electrical-part retrofitting. In this particular case, the press had been designed to print film, bare annealed aluminium up to 40 micron and paper up to 150 g/m2; max web width 1000 mm; printing cylinders repeat 400 ÷ 1000 mm; max printing speed 250 m/min.
Cooling rollers replacement on presses built before 1997 / 1999 is due to the fact that these rollers (picture A) consist of an external sleeve with an inner steel tank filled with polystyrene
The replacement of the two-rollers system with a single-roller system, be it on the infeed / outfeed pulling units as well as on the unwinder and rewinder, is useful on all the Cerutti presses equipped with this type of dancing rollers built in the 80s and the 90s.
